Some useful expressions with the word “joke”
• I don’t wanna listen to dirty jokes. = Aku nggak mau dengerin lelucon saru.
• Oh My! The joke’s always on me. = Sial! Aku selalu jadi bahan lelucon.
• You’re joking. = Kamu nggak serius nih.
• This is no joke. = Ini bukan candaan. Serius nih!
• He always cracks jokes. = Dia selalu bikin lelucon.
• Don’t make me the butt of the jokes. = Jangan jadiin aku bahan lelucon.
• Don’t play a joke on me. = Jangan mempermainkan aku.
• That guy doesn’t take a joke. = Orang itu nggak bisa bercanda.
Use of SHALL

English simple grammar for today: Shall
Shall is a modal verb which is rarely used. It is used to give “OFFERS” and to let others make a decision.
- Shall I take you home? (Mau aku antar pulang?)
- Shall we go to that café? (Mau kita ke kafe itu?)
- Shall I help you with your luggage? (bisa aku bantu bawa barang-barang anda?)
- Shall I call your father? (Mau aku telponkan ayahmu?)

Present perfect continuous tense is used to show a process of an activity occurring from the past to the present, whereas present perfect tense focuses more on the results. Have a look at the following dialog:
Dewi : You look tired. What have you been doing? (process)
Bran : I’ve been writing some reports. (process)
Dewi : How many reports have you made? (results)
Bram : Actually I’ve made 5 reports (results), but I need to make 2 more reports. It’s a tiring job.

- Ngak usah tergesa-gesa. = Don’t be in a hurry./ Take your time.
- Aku ndak tergesa-gesa kok. =I’m in no rush./ I have all the time in the world.
- Sori, aku benar-benar tergesa-gesa nih. = Sorry, I am in a hurry./ Sorry, I haven’t got all day./ Sorry, I’m in rush.
